As monitoring professionals get comfortable in this new age of observability, log monitoring and management—once an afterthought for monitoring folks even as it was the primary source of truth for security folks—has become even more important. In this session, we'll explore log management and analytics solutions both on-premises and in the cloud and see how they deliver comprehensive capabilities across IT implementations.
We'll show use cases best suited for the SolarWinds® Log Analyzer and Loggly® products—and in some cases, both. Afterwards, there will be a live Q&A with SolarWinds product experts Dave Wagner, product marketing manager; Bradley Sisson, sales engineer; and James Barnes, sales engineer.

Dave Wagner
Dave is a SolarWinds product marketing manager focused on Loggly, Log Analyzer, and the APM Suite. His experience includes over 30 years in tech software development, product marketing, and product management, including companies like BMC Software and several APM startups.
Bradley Sisson
Bradley has always had a fascination with understanding how things work and fixing them when broken. He started his career working with the Compuware Vantage suite and then the Dynatrace APM tool, both a natural fit for his interests. Since then, he’s spent his entire career working with different monitoring tools covering a wide range of technologies. He’s worked as a consultant in customer success, and currently as a pre-sales engineer for the SolarWinds application management team.
James Barnes
James is a SolarWinds product manager focusing on virtualization and storage solutions with previous roles in sales engineering, systems engineering, and software development. James is an avid BBQ aficionado (eating and preparing) and enjoys dabbling with home automation and random scripting and programming projects.
